dont do it!!! i know people with appartments standing empty all season, bansko now has very poor future returns, superborovets is where the smart money is going now
and borovets is higher and colder=better natural snow
I bought 2 off plan properties a few years ago. Last year was the first season after completion and I covered all my costs. This season has been good so far - both fully booked since mid-December with holiday guests and a good number of bookings for the remainder of the season. This season about 7% return so far.
The tourists and rentals are definitely there if you are prepared to do some marketing and spend time on it.

Whatever you do make a careful and well researched decision. Also look at resales as there are plenty for sale now which are completely finished which means no waiting for builders to finish, snagging etc!
I stayed in a new apartment last year and the workmanship was very poor, plugs hanging off the wall, shower also falling off the wall, wonky kitchen cupboards etc.
Also if there is any truth in the price rises we will be in the Alps next year and the market will have disappeared.
However, I'm really looking forward to my week in the Kempinski in February.
Borovets is the better option now, the new Super Borovets will put the resort back to the top spot, and the beauty is there is less space to build, so prices will rise steadily
