re: Irish Builders

i am irish although i enjoy a laugh as much as anyone else i find this sort of petty humour very offensive, let me ask you a simple question if you have the intellegence to give a sensible answer, in these delicate times of racial segregation would you make the same comments about coloured people or even dare i say a muslim, i await your comments i appreciate you post a lot of comments on this web site but thats one i think you should have kept to yourself, its not funny its stupid

re: Irish Builders

I'm Irish so lighten up. The world would be a much better place if we didn't all take offence at the drop of a hat or in this case at a bit of light hearted humour. If the joke had been about English builders it wouldn't have made sense cause they wouldn't have started work yet.

re: Irish Builders

You are very right about 'delicate times of racial segregation' however the Irish like the Engish and many other peoples are nations not races. I will also point out that any 'intelligent' person in this day and age knows how offensive the word 'coloured' is when referring to black people. Tut Tut. I'm with Damo on this one...most jokes are about some stereotype, (women, men, single parents, people with ginger hair, Irish, welsh, English, skiers, boarders, musicians...to name but a few) what ...

Come on man, lighten up!
