Arrived back from Pamporvo on Saturday, was our first snow holiday and i have to say i have been converted. We boarded all week plenty of snow espically in the first three days when it didnt stop snowing once!!! When we left there was still about 4 foot of powder on the upper slopes. Has great instructors Ivan and Mileana and we even managed the red and black slopes on our last day!!! Cant wait to go back
I think youll find that the general rule is that skiers hate boarders because they sit on the corners-scrape the snow off cause they go down the slopes on their backsides when they should be doing their `falling leave` routine on a green run instead of sitting out on a black. good boarders and cool but 75% are a bloody hazzard- its not often you find a beginner skier trying to do a black or red run- skiers out of their depth crash into the tree`s - its the pesky boarders who sit like pigeons ...

in pamporovo the skiers just took up the whole slope which ever run you were on not giving us boarders a good chance to pass, i blame this mainly on the ski schools but is still a hazard. there were still the few good skiers that did anchor up and let you pass safely.
and oldieski i done the wall on tues or weds and was quite a scare, was moguled up to F**K so was a real mission to make it down in one piece and considering never done it before and the visibility being about 7 ft in front ...

Boarders are much more trendy and chilled out thats why we sit on the edge of the piste and this is probably because we work alot harder on the slopes due to the fact that snowboarding is an art, we dont just slide down the mountain in one foward stance - anyone can do this!
Skiers all sticks and poles - what a mess and what fashions disasters!!!!!!
Sorry I really dont like skiers either. Could you tell!!!!
