Just Returned from Bansko- Feel free too ask any questions

Skiing was good out there (in bansko), going again next week. The weather was very changeable which is pretty much the forecast for the rest of the season. The first 3 days was bathed in glorius sunshine we then had a huge snow dump which made powdery conditions very dangerous, our last day was great. I would also like to point out a hoax, down the road from the lion bar is a stall selling games and dvds at 20 levs each. These are fakes and not real! Although down that road are some great ...

I would also like to point out a hoax, down the road from the lion bar is a stall selling games and dvds at 20 levs each. These are fakes and not real! Although down that road are some great places too eat out try them all! The best place to change money at the moment is the Hotel Strazhite with a rate of 2.77 levs to the pound, do not exchange money in England but take stirling too Bulgaria. I would suggest a night out in the lion bar which serves great food and alchohol they are also die hard Liverpool supporters! Feel free to ask questions i have been going for 11 years now.

I got 2.857 out of the ATM at Sofia Airport departure side. Best rate I had in the 10 days I was there. No charges on an Abbey E savers card

Carol, A 6 day pass was 280 leva, however you can pay by credit card-the rate on my statement was 2.86. It is better if you have a nationwide card as thery don't charge the 2.75% F/E commission. The station does chg 5 lev per pass but this is more than covered by the better rate.
