Carol, A 6 day pass was 280 leva, however you can pay by credit card-the rate on my statement was 2.86. It is better if you have a nationwide card as thery don't charge the 2.75% F/E commission. The station does chg 5 lev per pass but this is more than covered by the better rate.

For anyone who came to basko this year and plans to return next and kept there ski pass, just keep it and hand it in next year and you won't have to pay the 5 leva deposit!!!!

The 5 leva is returnable

Why dont you all return your cards via the card returning machine in the gondola station? quick and easy and you get your 5 leva back....
