Hey there, right may be able to shine some light i hope, but i could be wrong.
Easyjey in August 2007 change a baggage policy on all there flights, basically saying " we dont think that our customers who dont take baggage should pay for the ppl who do" which in translation means " we fancy charging everyone a little extra just to p**s you off"
They charge everyone it these days not just ski'ers I checked in a suit case £16 return. Well under the weight limit. So when flying with Easyjet ...

Thanks, we'd paid for two hold bags, and two pairs or skis, am wondering if we should've paid for another two hold bags (£8 each at the airport, £4 on the website) for the ski boot bags, still not sure how they make that €60...I have sent of complaint letter to EJ and today and willl let you know what they say - if anything about it all!

this is a common problem with the handling agent at sofia aiport which unfortunately reflects on easyjet. i had problems at sofia when dealing with the agents of wizz air.the cause of this problem is the handling agent not knowing the regulations of the carrier

Ahh ha! That is EXACTLY what i thought - thank you The Insider!We put in our letter that we understand that the Ground Staff are not direct employees of EJ, but as subcontractors are representatives of their company and as such have a responsibility to them (EJ) and their clientel. Hopefully they will get on the blower to Sofia and sort it out before we fly over there again, or they try and mug anyone else!
