As the title says, I have just been made redundant. I only got back from Boro on Saturday but whilst I knew I was on redundancy warning I did not think it would happen this quickly.
Now due to the nature of my job I am now on 1 months gardening leave. I don't like gardening much so I think another ski holiday maybe in order.
I need a cheap ski holiday leaving on the first weekend of April (this way I can find another job before I go!). Can anyone recommend a good place to get a cheap ...

if u try balkan holidays from edinburgh r newcastle they had cheap deals on the 29th march about 250 half board including ski pack and lift passes to pamps r bansko

Balkan finish all flights out on 29th March, if you can go then there are amazing deals on.

Borogirl, where is your info from, I spoke to Balken on phone today they confirmed all England and Wales flights finish on 29th

SnikI just tried booking a holiday on their web site for 4th April and 11th April and was offered a good choice to Boro. I didn't go as far as paying - maybe it would have referred me to the office if I had.

Borogirl, trust me Balkan advertise the holidays but once you try booking it turns out all flights finish end of March, I can't get anywhere with them in BG after 29th, I too have the week of 4th April booked off for a snow holiday, I wanted Bansko but looks like Italy or Austria for me.re: Just been made redundant - need a cheap ski holiday
That's a shame, Snik, as the snow/skiing looks great for a good few weeks yet.Can't you go independently

£230 just for the return flight to Sofia from Gatwick, not worth the risk at that price, doesn't make sense when cheap deals are a coming up for European resorts with excellent snow cover from my local airport, shame as I fancied Bansko.
