Cheap you say. Get a buget flight to Sofia. Stop in the hostel there 8-10€ per night and a taxi to the gondola. Plenty of snow still on Vitosha to and it did have snow last whitson. Or chat the kind folk up on here for a cheap apt.

Yeah the budget flight was £99 return with £130 tax, not cheap on the day I need to fly.

Balkan Holidays last flights are 4th/5th April Outbound and 11th/12th April Inbound. These are from LHR using Scheduled Airline Bulgaria Air

Well why didn't the representative offer this when I phoned yesterday about LHR flights, they say last flight 29th March to Sofia, perhaps the flight is full.

My guess is because Balkan Holidays by a block number of seats on the scheduled aircraft they have a small allocation.

The flight on 29th Oubound is a BH Charter where thay have all the seats to sell

Think I will give Balkan a call and see what I can do!!

Cheapest flight I have found in April is £130 with Easyjet from Gatwick. But the cost of renting an apartment and transfers by myself all adds up!!

Try www.skyscanner.net for flights, then you could try the Balkan website for Acommodation Only as you will then qualify to get the Ski PAck through them which is much cheaper.

350 EURO full ski pack and studio in villa park in borovets for 1 week with balkan pms and hunters ski school .flight can be booked with wizzair.com or easyjet.com

To put all your minds at rest I have booked a flight for the 4th of April. Dont know what resort but could not think of a better way to spend my "gardening leave".

Any recommendations on which resort. I like Borovets as I find everyone very helpful
