LOST PASSPORT

Hi all,
We are due to fly out to bulgaria on the 22nd of december but we have just realised that a member of our party is missing their passport. we no about the premium service from the passport office that is available but this is not applicable to lost passports, also the fast pass option is not fast enough as this can take 1 week to complete and we are flying like i say on the 22nd.
anyway just wondering if anybody has got any ideas of what we could do to get a passport in 5 ...

Hi Gaz,You can use the premium service but have to apply in person at the passport office.

Thanks for that boardstiff but if you read into the info on that page it says that the service is not available for lost/stolen passports! i think that this is stupid as by what it says "This service is not available if you are applying for a first passport, a full / total name change to your existing passport, extension to a passport, or to replace a lost, stolen or damaged passport." what the hell can you use the service for then?!Cheers anyway

Last year my son replaced his stolen passport by going in person to the London passport office the day before his flight. This site is a bit confusing because if you look here:http://www.ips.gov.uk/passport/apply-replacing-urgent.asp
It says that you can make an urgent application.

gaz.. it can be done. a couple of years ago i booked last minute deal, booked wednesday to fly saturday. then couldnt find passport. i had to spend all of friday in the liverpool office but by 4pm i had a passport.re: LOST PASSPORT

fly to dublin and get an irish passport can be issued in a couple of hoursre: LOST PASSPORT
Rennie was his usual self again. Sending our striker off after 15 mins for nothing!!!!!We played them off the park and lost. Nothing new there
