Hi.
Does anyone know what the latest exchange rate is in Boroverts. Were out on the 7th, just trying to decide wether it is worth changing up over there, or just getting it here to save on the hassle factor?
I usually take some out as it's handy for the first days/night and you don't lose too much (Marls & Spencer usually have a good rate) . I usually find the cheapest option though is to take it out of the hole in the wall,by the gondola with Maestro - no hassle whatsoever. There's a £2 charge (on my card) but it still works out cheaper than any other way. See you there!

Is it always best to exchange when you get out there? I've just been to Thomas Cook and Thomson and the best rate they could offer was 1.975...

Last time I enquired (January) I had to wait a week and the rate had dropped since ordering to 1.75 from 1.9 and they were only offering the lower rate. However, when I went to Coop travel they honoured their rate at the time of order, 2.1 when it had since dropped to 1.9.

No sure about your question about travel agents but I've always found it best to change sterling in the resort in BG and/or use the ATMs. Nationwide flex account doesn't charge for transactions and although they are changing this soon, they are not for BG and a few other countries.
I've always found the exchange rate slightly better in BG than at home.
