You should tell the instructor what you can do, and say you feel that you are not a beginner.
Get out of the beginner class being on level 4 means you should not be there.
oposite to the first pasting i would say it is easyer on the snow after the first shock of the speed. After 30 mins dependent on you. then what you have learnt comes together.
I skied 13 years, board now.

If you can do a blue run in Bansko then you would be fine on the red runs in Borovets.

If you are all travelling with the same tour operator you should all be using the same ski school. The majority use Borosport which is based in the Rila. Your operator will tell you to see them at an allocated time on the first morning to get your lift pass and lesson and equipment vouchers. Once you have collected your skis from the depot you are then allocated instructors according to your ability.

The depot where you get your skis is usually allocated according to your hotel so that you don't spend every morning and evening trapsing up and down the high street. If you are at different ones arrange to meet up with your friends before sorting out an instructor.
