NOW BH AIR IS OWNED 51% BY BALKAN HOLIDAYS AND 49% BY VILKANIA LIMITED, AN OFFSHORE COMPANY REGISTERED IN CYPRUS AND OWNED BY BULGARIANS. VILKANIA MIGHT AS WELL BE OWNED BY TIM. IN ANY CASE, ALL THESE COMPANIES REPRESENT THE BULGARIAN OLIGARCHY (FORMER STATE SECURITY PEOPLE TURNED "BUSINESSMAN" THROUGH CORRUPTION AND ORGANISED CRIME).

BH Air has 1 British Pilot who is currently gaining hours for his log book, he also was working on the summer charter programme. They also hav a number from Scandanavia for the same reason.

The reason the MD still flies is to have flying time logged which is a necessary requirement to keep his licence.

In reply to Mall, you actually need quite number of pilots for 4 aircraft due to the restrictions on working hours and the fact that BH AIr fly 7 days a week to various destinations. BH London alone in the summer have 6 flying days per week with each aircraft doing 2 rotations to the UK per week sometimes.
