Can anyone recommend any really good restaurants in or around Boro, Kostenets or Samokov ? Local or international food, doesn't matter.

We went to one in Samokov on Kas' recommendation. I can't remember the name of the place but I've a feeling it was on )or just off) Bulgaria Boulevard. Kas will know where I mean.

target target target in samakov really good food at really low prices we always go at least once per visit to borovets,also in the resort of boro the green king do really good bulgarian dishes them 2 are a must i promise you,also i believe bobby bar are dishing out good food!, we will be eating in all 3 mentioned,up top eat at white house food good RAKIA better mmmmmmm looking forward to my trip so much as iv just been writing this i felt like i was over there

Ok - in the Samokov area...
Target (our favourite restaurant), K Bar (english run, fab atmoshphere, very small menu, BUt what they cook is fantastic - try the Jerk Chicken), Old House - great food but you have to book (only place in Samakov that you have to), Cinema for Pizza's (but very smoky).... loads more but that's for a start...
Kostenets - have tried places but no expert, so no real idea...there are locals that can help you here...

Green King - again, last year was great food, as was Titanic and Happy Duck...

ezoroto in kostenets is good (there are lots of signs in kostenets for it - they are red with a fish on it).
in dolna banya the motel is good with cheap food (was there a few weeks ago and meal for 3 with wine and beer about £30)
also the ela guest house just outside DB is run by an english guy steve with his bulgarian wife and the food there is simple but really good.
in radul on the road to borovets (with the mig) there is tavern smith which does the best pizza's i ...
