What nobody has mentioned is the price of the lift passes. That's why we chose Bulgaria last year. My sister was staying in Zermatt so we only needed flights, but when we looked at the price of the lift passes we started looking around. We got the package inc. hire, lessons & passes for 2 of us for £50 more than it would have cost for just 1 lift pass in Zermatt. If the lift pass price starts to rise drastically, that's when we will start looking at other countries.

its not just the lift pass prices, tignes they are around £150 but you do get around another 150km of pieste, so if food and drink raises we would pay the extra £50 for the extra pieste, we go for a cheap ski holiday,

But these cheap ski hotels you destroyed your self at one hand, on the other hand the people who reign and own the resorts.
F.E. you will find no good wine or food int he stores, you think a coffee has to cost 1,50 lev. A hour of internet must be 6 lev I've seen some years ago in Borovez. And the same game at the black sea anyone has everytime Happy Hour because prices are so high that nobody want to pay and then Happy hour ended go on, next Bar.

I pay for my Hotel, nice and small but cosy and warm, family run down in Samokov town, the high amount of 24 lev per night , single room in high season, with tons of snow. And the bus ticket to Borovez was last year 1,20 lev...
I like my holidays and I see much more from Bulgaria as you will ever see...

And the prize for the most sanctimonious post of 2008 goes to SUNE.If only we were all as astute as you, or maybe , just maybe, we are prepared to spend a few pound in Bulgaria rather than haggle over the eqivilent of £ 1.

Merecedes 600. thats more of an insight into your jealousy of someone who has had the gonads to start a business and make a profit from it.
Yes i do what i want , its all about supply and demand, and yes poeple are making money from it, however they are also porviding a service that is still significantly less than here.
I thought this would appeal to your frugile disposition !

For what crying???You havn't understand what I want to tell you, the people who work in the Bars, run them, or the waiters, taxi drivers etc. They will not earn the big money. Just the nice guys which we called years ago so nice 'politians' get richer and richer or die in a bomb blast or shoot down ....
But equal have a nice holiday.

we didnt pay much more than a pound for a beer, although the hotel we are staying in has warstiner which is mt fav beer but its £3 a pint might have to have one a day then drink the local stuff.re: Look what you made in the last 10 years
