I have been reading the recent report from Lord Lewis of Marston concerning his holiday in Bansko.
I am employed with Ulen, the company in charge of the depot and would like to comment on the situation with the stolen ski's.

I believe what upset the depot on the case in question was the attitude of the women that lost the skis. She simply refused to accept responsibilty or pay for the skis. Only after the intervention of the Rep did she agree to pay.
Did you realise, if stolen ski's are not paid for the staff in the depot have to pay for them. How do you think we feel when this is the case, and our salary is only 300lv per month??
I am disgusted by the comments of Lord Lewis of Marston stating that there is a scam between the Depot Staff and Reps. Was does his Lordship base these comments on? I can assure you that there is no such scam!!!
And as far as threatening the Rep and warning him not to go to Britain. The least said about this the better.
In future, please look after your skis, if they get stolen, we sympathise, but we will lost a month's salary to replace them, at least you have insurance to claim the money back!
I agree Georgie. It is unfortunate when these things happen but some people's attitudes don't help. I seem to recall that it was a member of this same group last season who had their pass removed for knocking someone off the ski road due to skiing to fast in an uncontrolled way.
Coming out on Saturday and can't wait. Bring it on!!
This is the first year i am taking my own board (after a couple of years saving!) Are there any simple preventative mesaures i can take to stop my board from being stolen from outside restaurants etc?
May be it is a good idea Pete, or he can do it as me with my bike, individual builed bike with yellow-blue frame and a heavy chain. Nobody will touch it or try to ride.
