This is clearly a big problem and appears to be accepted with no action taken by the hire company other than to charge for replacements. Where are the warning signs telling people that thieves are operating. Why do the hire company not provide locks, people would be willing to pay extra for this facility. I have worked in Stara Zagora and know only too well about Bulgarian poor pay and conditions and we well respect that life is much harder there. However we also have to work hard to be able to holiday in Bulgaria and ask only that our custom is respected in that when we have a problem some concern and help is offered. As a group we love Bansko and its people and do not wish its reputation to be tarnished by a few bad apples. Please use this to do something positive the theft of skiis by whoever tourist, gypsies employees is unacceptable and helps nobody dont just accept. Please accept this from one of the 50 who loves Bulgaria.
