watch out, the 12 year old fan boys will be on telling you you're just being miserable and to get a life. Anyway, its looking pretty grey but we'll give it a shot - yesterday was marvellous at Borovets, lets hope we get some more of the same today. For me its an hour from where I live so I'm very grateful, but when I want a vacation, I'm in the Alps or, this year, Whistler. Not that much more expensive either.
Can't help the weather guys n dolls, bad everywhere this year!!
Try the other resorts in europe if you must, but cheap living in Bulgaria has had you coming back for years, so a change might enlighten you as to the french pices!!
Happy holidays, were off to pamps today, blizzard, and looking great for us.
Can't wait to be in the beautiful mountains again
Danzkenz - As I mentioned in my post I know the snow is bad Europe wide at the mo and I took that into account.
With regard to other resorts I hve boarded in Austria and France. Yes the prices are more but, only a little now if you are relatively selective about where you eat/stay. The price differential is now so close it's a lot easier to pick elsewhere.
Hear it's snowing so hope you have a great time a good conditions.
I agree with daznkez, I went with the family to Valmorel France last year at Easter. Everything is more expensive. I just felt I was being ripped off. When you are paying over £15 for coffee's and cokes it starts to make you cross. We are going on a late booking to Pamps on the 17th and if the prices are at least on a par or cheaper than GB I won't complain. I hear everything has gone up in Bulgaria but not alas their salaries.
prices cant stay the same every year, they must go up!
its just the natural way of things!
snow canons need real cold weather to work, no point turning them on in mild weather. all they do is spray water and the coldness is supposed to turn the water to snow.
pamps is a bit expensive on the pistes and the resorts but its still cheaper than alps.
