Mobile coverage O2

Am on O2 and going to Borovets week Sat - does anyone know what the coverage is like there?? Leaving oldest d house sitting and would prefer her to be able to contact me at all times if nec. Son has Orange so could in theory pinch his phone if needs be. Can't work out from O2 coverage map where Borovets is and am lost without my mobile lol

cant answer you about o2 but curious
iv been before and both ornage and vodafone no probs athey just go ito a local network
other halfs o2 didnt work last year but when we got back and complained they said it was his settings on fone
this year im taking the o2 in hope and the vodafone cos i know it will work

Many thanks Will take son's phone too as well then. Am hoping as is BlackBerry if theres coverage for other networks then fingers crossed the O2 will work as well.

Hi, I used 02 with no issues last year in Borovets. Not sure on the coverage. I was sat in Franko's pizza at the time.

Make sure 02 have enabled the abroard stuff and your network is on roaming or automatic.

It does indeed. Have made sure bar is lifted and have number for WAP as I need to change that. If I have to sit in Franko's pizza then so be it. Many thanks - am feeling much happier now

Coverage when i was there was fine.
My bill when i got home, was'nt!

Buy a sim card out there as i am sure someone has already mentioned, much much cheaper.

Have paid to have cheaper texts/ emails and think there is no way will even begin to get close to mobile phone bill had when in Italy for 2 weeks 6 years ago when had to leave husband behind. Suffice to say was 4 figures plus so will not be anything near!

Does the discount include the charges you get for incoming calls?
It was those that did me up when i went.

Unless theres a major catastrophe am not expecting calls - just texts Was the incoming calls that did me in Italy and have been wary ever since lol

Mobile phone coverage in Bulgaria is excellent.

If you need to phone home it will sound like you're ringing next door.
