Obviously there is no such thing as 02 in Bulgaria, the phone networks are Globul and M-Tel, and as long as you have the bars lifted your phone will search out the stronger link. One of my phones is 02 (ive got a BG sim as well as i spend a lot of time out there) and coverage is excellant, even up the mountains, what you will get is half a dozen or even 6 texts on the way to the resort as you get welcomed to first one then the other and then back again all the way up the valley. The calls that cost are as said if you get called from uk. so have your phone, but try txts before calls if you want a cheaper bill
