A little earlier there was an allegation posted on here by Mr Jeffrey (since deleted) that all monies I have raised for the Orphanage is sitting in my bank account for my own personal use. Whilst I don't think for one minute that anybody took any notice of it, I felt it necessary to update you with my intentions of what I will be doing with your donations. A little earlier there was an allegation posted on here by Mr Jeffrey (since deleted) that all monies I have raised for the Orphanage is sitting in my bank account for my own personal use. Whilst I don't think for one minute that anybody took any notice of it, I felt it necessary to update you with my intentions of what I will be doing with your donations. Firstly I have a list of all doners plus the amount donated, and I send this on a weekly basis to Andie for auditing purposes. The current totals are as follows.
Sterling and cheques - £1,600
Foreign Currency (converted to sterling) - £133
Levs - 100
Euros 20
The first few cheques were banked and cashed, and form part of the cash total, but all other cheques now are held with me uncashed, and will not be banked until just before I leave. I will then do a bank transfer of the total amount to the heating fund account in Sofia which is being overseen by a solicitor. The reason for not banking them now is to prevent any investigation from the FSA into irregular and frequent deposits into my personal account.
If anybody would like a copy of the donaion list then please ask, or if you have any queries into the fundraising please do likewise.

I did read his posting and to be honest was a little confused.Does he not see exactly what you do like everyone else on this site does!!
I've only been about on here for a few weeks but i have, without any doubt, 100% trust in everything you are doing.
Just a shame i'm going away the week before your bravery begins. It would have been great to meet you x

this is a shame--even a few weeks in a deposit account could have raised a few quid in interest---losers like 'our friend' make losers of others (in a monetary way in this case)re: Mr. Jeffreys Allegations

As my colleague said in another post The money is safe and will remain so. In March, Amanda, Andie and myself will become the legal signatories and any money withdrawn will have to be signed by at least two of us. Amanda and Andie will be living there and I visit very often. Pete, I know you are very dedicated to this cause and people trust you so I am sticking my head out here but I know that both Amanda and Andie would be more than happy for you to come on board, to be one of the signatories or replace me. I can assure you that this money going into the Escrow account will only be used for the heating system, insulation and repairs .
I wish to add that I wholeheartedly endorse Caroles (the author) request for Pete to join us as we all trust and respect him and are extremely grateful for what he is doing to help us help the kids. I can also verify that I am in contact with Pete on a regular basis to ensure that all monies collected is recorded and monitored. Therefore, may I suggest that in future if you do not have anything constructive to please, say nothing.
