That bit isn't a 'run' at all - it's the distance between the ski depot and the first lift up. It just happens to slope down that's all. When there's snow, it makes the access from the depot to the lift easier - you just ski gently down. Beginners don't have a chance - or a choice because it's the only way out of the depot to access the slopes. I agree with 'Where's-me-skis' - when you buy a lift pass, it's the responsibility of those in charge of the lift to ensure SAFE access. One lad fell over and cut his head open down there last week. That can't be right, surely?
