Hi guys,Here's a couple of photo's taken today in Borovets. It is awful here & snow isn't expected until the 6th January ... I wonder if the resort will even still be open if it's this bad ....

Did you know that the temp today in Crete was 24c (winter) and the temp in Australia (summertime) in Sydney was 18!!!!! That's what the Greek news said - and it was really warm today in my town (Preveza Greece) everyone outside without coats!!! I just knew this would happen if I bought ski gear for Bansko! I went into the Greek mountains last year - dressed for snow (I'd been told there was snow!) and it was bloody warm!!!! So I'm to blame I think!re: New pics from Borovets - 27th December

The gondola has been working for one afternoon last week. We haven't been up but it's apparently icy as the cannons made snow then it thawed & re-froze.To be honest it's been so warm that even that snow is probably melted too.
