Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Just got back from Pamps and they are installing cannons all over the place. They will have at least 5 runs open early in December and of course the base snow will then hold the real stuff when it comes down. They have plenty of water this time and I understand there will be about 170 cannons in total. Was dissaponted last Christmas when I went there as there was no skiing of any worth till after the holidays but def going back for this Christmas. Heard also that they might be getting commercial flights into Plovdiv now the new terminal is open. Are things looking up?

Hi Sagexpert, excellent news about the snow canons and the flights in to Plovdiv.
I have been trying to book flights in to Plovdiv without much success for a while now, thought it was just me not being able to find any.
I was looking a few weeks ago for a couple of familys who will be renting our house in Momchilovtsi near Pamporovo late december and new year.
Getting more Plovdiv flights will be great for both pamps and bansko, thanks for the update.. See its not all doom and gloom as some people make out.
