yeah chepelare is to far. And you are right.....nothing much going on there. Better go to Smolian.

No it isnt. On your way up to pamporovo you will go past Chepelare, so then you can see. Smolyan is maybe 10-15 min away from Pamporovo, and its also the biggest city/village in the area. Beside there are nothing going on there anyway. People in Chepelare go to Smolian when they gonna eat and drink out. Only speciell thing about Chepelare is that a former world champion in biathlon live in this village. We went to see her, and she was very friendly and invited us in. :-)
