Spent a couple of years in Cyprus with the Army. Seemed rude not to ski with plenty snow available. sb

It doesn't matter what your birth cert says - it's how old you are inside that counts. Me and hubby learned to ski just before my 50th - and wished we'd done it years ago. All set for our 3rd trip to Pamps in Feb and thinking about trying Canada next year.

learnt 5 years ago when 43 done 5 years in pamps going to canada next week for xmas
Skied one year at pamps with a couple who learnt when in there 60's had been going for the previous 4-5 years.Charlie also had tunnel vision, we all had a good laugh when on presentation night he entered the room with his white stick. They were a great couple.

Noting all the posts,
it seems that skiing may be a way of increasing longevity as all the posts seem to be about males skiing ata ripe old age. Either that or the Apres ski is a good'un for the old'un.

2 years ago i met a woman who had bought a place in borovets, she is from the uk and 74 and a very competant skier.

there is hope for us all ,,,,
