I have no doubt they are different and have been going to Bulgaria for 7 years so I know too. However,...not, and I quote "Bulgaria only attracts the trash of the UK".
PP isn't trash, I am not trash, my friends who USED to go every year are not trash, Two sides to every story my highly qualified mucker but you perhaps need tohold a mirror to your own resort and worker before issuing such blanket statements.
Bulgarian ski instructor, you are in the wrong job mate . Get a job where you don't have to mix with the public ,English, German or Bulgarian. Your atitude stinks and its that unforgiving attitude that makes you such an unhappy person. Maybe a job in passport control .I bet you have the face for it.
I must admit im not always proud of some of us Brits abroad ,some just don't know how to behave but i'm with Taff S.P. on this one.
I have taken on board all of your comments, i can only hope that some were posted in anger. I assure you there are many visitors and tourists that are not as you put it trash. I have been in Pamporovo for seven years in total and have resided full time for the past two years. I have never been drunk in my life, i have never done damage to a hotel room, i have never had a fight in Bulgaria, i have always been polite and i have always paid my bar bills. I have never been drunk in my life, i have never done damage to a hotel room, i have never had a fight in Bulgaria, i have always been polite and i have always paid my bar bills. I always treat other with the respect in which I expect to be treated. I personally have invited many friends, coleagues and buisiness associates and have recomended Pamporovo very highly. None of my friends or associates are trash. I would agree that there are a proportion of holiday makers that over indulge on alcohol and may get intoxicated with alcohol and let themselves down fro time to time, but this is not all English visitors.
certain taxi driver, restaurants, cafe's ect do hold a double pricing system in Bulgaria. Agree a price first with the taxi drivers, check the prices of the menue's if you are unagreeable choose another.
I believe that there is good and bad in all nationalities, it is most unfair and unintelligent to ever judge on a whole race because of the few that let themselves down.
Making a clear statement that all UK Tourists are trash, shows you as being un-intelligent no matter what exams you may or may not have does not detract from the ignorance in which you have shown by making such a dirogatory and insulting statment.
I can only hope that you take time to reflect on the very poor statement that you have made and come back with a suitable apology in order to redeem your self. RANT OVER i do not hold a grudge luckly for some.
This institute is not a borstal, however all the children here have been placed by order of the courts, all the girls are here due to them being used for human trafficking mainly by their parents from the age of 7 years. The boys are placed here due to their parents or family member beating them or using them for criminal activities, not many of the children have parents. Not all the children have commited crime as we know it, some like Slavcho were just found living out in the forest alone.
Couldn't agree more with the Ski Instructor, last year was our last to pamps after 15 continuous years of having fabulous holidays there!!! We have meny Bulgarian friends, whom we still keep in touch with, but last year was enough stayed at Hotel Pamps, a complete rip off and some of the holidaymakers especially the Irish, it was more like Benidorm, I don't believe it is the English that are rude from what we saw it was all the Irish lads!! Pamps had gone downhill over the years, both due to the sort of people it now attracts, very few Germans and French go there like they used to 5 years or so ago, The bulgarian mafia now rip you off everywhere, and sadly its the bulgarian people who lose out, they do deserve better. Pamps is a dying resort for most of us, and looking at the comments on here this year, its been said so many times, I for one am very sad for how things have declined so much. I only hope that the Bulgarians will improve things before its too late to recover. Its certainly more a resort for the yobs these days!!
