PANICKING AGAIN!!!

Right,

My mate has lent me a cheeky pair of Thirty Two brand snowboard boots, however my problem goes like this....

He is a size 10 and he has only worn them once.
I am a size 9 but the boot feels a little cramped on my toes, therefor, I am not sure if they are too small and am debating taking them at all! My toes feel a lot more cramped in these badboys and are right at the end!
Now I know if this was a normal shoe you would just ask for a bigger size, however, I have asked two ...

Now I know if this was a normal shoe you would just ask for a bigger size, however, I have asked two parties and both conflict. One say's that they need to be this way in order to stop your heel rising (Which apparently is worse), the other says that these boots will batter my feet!!

Who is right as this has now turned into my new stress focus?
Do I take the boot or do I leave the boot?

YES NO

It's your call people so please help as I WILL listen to the majority!

Over and out,

Benn

re: PANICKING AGAIN!!!

BENN.

Boot fitment needs to be right other wise you will hate your riding and may even take skiing up and we wouldnt want that .

So pull boots on , bang heel into back of boot two or three times , then do inner fastenings up , then do outer laces or fastenings up . stand up , get into what would be your noraml stance , toes shouls just brush end .

32's r notorious for small area around toes ..... if they feel like they are touching or worse dont wear them

Hope this helps mate

Hi Benn

I don't board , I ski, but i would say wear them around the house for a few hours with ski socks and see how your feet feel....

re: PANICKING AGAIN!!!

What happens if you're wearing them and you bend your knees and crouch - into a snowboarding stance?
If that makes your toes feel less cramped then they are fine. If not and they're very uncomfortable even in that stance they're probably too small.
TBH - I got some free boots that are a bit too small, but I wear them anyway cos I'm a cheap skate! I never notice after a few minutes. It's not worth spoiling a holiday over though - so if they're going to make you uncomfortable get some others!

re: PANICKING AGAIN!!!

was wondering where you had gone, weather forcaste not so good thought that might be it for you Razz

Give the boots back if there making you stressed, you really don't need the pressure.

Do yourself a favour and ski Banana skiing you might find it relieves your stress.

@WFM

Still not sure though mate!
They are a size 10, bigger than my usual. They feel fine, its just around the toe area when I stand!
And Matt, yeah sort of better when I bend down!
Suz, am wearing them now as I type mate!

If I left em', what are the hire boots at Hunters like?
I have heard good things so far so I may just leave em'!!

Awww my head is starting to spin again! I never get like this when I go to Majorca!!
