Hi there,
I bought some boots a couple of months ago to give pleanty of time to bed them in. Skiid in them for the first time sunday gone at xscape in castleford on what was called a "boot proving session" from LD mountain centre (where i bought the boots), unfortunately after 2 hours i felt that thy were a little bit roomier than i'd imagined they would be.
After some extensive mondo point searching i think i should have a 25 boot as opposed to a 26 and when i measured my feet one is 25 and the other 26.. something i'd not done before.
I thougt the shops were the experts, i spent £200 on those boots and want to use them for a few years yet, has anyone ever had to swap boots or anything or can anyone give me any advice?
I am taking them back in when i get the chance as advised by the guy who ran the session on Sunday.
What are my chances of getting them changed or is the roominess easy to fix?
Here in norway we can buy a little piece to put in a boot if its to big. It will only adjust your size a half number, but its better then nothing.
With my boots I can adjust them myself, so they can up or down a half size.
TAKE THEM BACK TO THE SHOP AND MOAN. Shouting over.. the shop will have to put things right as they are not fit for the purpose.. at least get some custom inserts molded to your feet out of them, but make sure that they dont charge you any more. Pimp x
