Whats the point of going on holiday if you can't have a fag and a pint. You might as well stop in over pc protective boring England with all the elf and safety trash. And global warming, what a load of rubbish, Fact No1 the planet has been cooling since 1998. Fact No 2 the carbon dioxide leval in the atmosphere is 0.038% and has been for millions of years. Fact No 3 the planet is running out of oil and gas and it is alot easier to scaremonger people that there is such a thing as global warming, than to find the money to spend on nuclear power.Iran is trying to build nuclear power stations for when it runs dry of oil, Dubai is turning to tourist attractions ready for when they run out of oil.

I am an ex smoker and detest the smell of smoke and am very intolerant of smokers. However I did not find Pamporovo that bad on any of our holidays. I have three children and totally understand your views about sitting near smokers but I just didn't find it a problem. Maybe we were just lucky but it certainly wasn't a major factor in our holiday. The only place I remember thinking 'god, this place stinks' was in our hotel lobby - and we only every walked through there.

I have told our management company that our apartment is to be a non smoking one and they initally said that would put off the Eastern European guests - but so far it hasn't!

Ban smoking and there won't be any bars or restaurants to go to. When will people realise that it's the people with addictive personalities that have kept these places in business. We only fool ourselves when we say the hundreds of bars shutting in britain every year has got anything to do with anything apart from the smoking ban. If smoking's not your bag go somewhere else like france. In order to account for the smoking related downturn in the bars there you can expect to pay £6 upwards for a pint and how about £4 for a lemonade for the kids?
