Hi, was about -10 up top and colder with the wind chill, although the wind wasn't as bad as expected... Tomorrow is forecast 30mph winds with a wind chill nearing -30 so should be fun.

It has been snowing non stop although not too heavy since yesterday, woke up to about 5cm fresh snow and another few cm fell throughout today... Conditions are really nice, still icy in places on 4, 5 and Stoikite.. The closed Stoikite run is gradually covering over although no more snow is forecasted unfortunately.

Also emailed the resort a couple of days ago and they replied today.. Apparently all the runs and lifts are open which is a lie... I'm dying to ski number 9 and will even if it's closed but the chairlift doesn't seem to be operating all day, and we asked in the afternoon and they if it's only open to go back down which I understand to get back to smolyan but annoying none the less.

The email also said night skiing is starting this Friday and will be on Fridays and Saturdays... Couldn't have thought of a worse days to do it on as English tourists usually go Saturday to Saturday which just isn't practical... I got my own skis so look forward to it, that's if the people I'm emailing have a clue what they're on about lol!
