Hi
I have read that lift passes for children up to 7 are free in Pamporovo. My son is 7 so does this mean he is free or will I need to buy a childs pass, and how strict are they?
They are pretty lax. My son was 7 this year and didn't have a pass. You don't have to have the kids with you when you buy your adult passes however if he looks older than 7, they might question you when he ducks under the barriers. I would say that if a child was under 7 but looks older, it would be sensible to have proof of age on you but if you are trying to get away with NOT buying a pass - leave the ID behind.
Never had a prob with my little boy. He just used to stand in front of one of us and go through at same time. No one ever said anything on any of the lifts.
I'd give it a go sheila. My 7 year old is quite tall, and no-one batted an eye last week at him going under, or sharing a turnstile with me. I'm certainly going to try it again next year.
