Cant believe that a site that promotes Bg, that seems so keen on all things Bulgarian would allow some of the comments on here to remain.
Why cant people just be honest and pay what they should? and passing a 9 yr old off as 7 to save on a pass is nothing more than theft, and its the honest ones who end up paying for them.

Interesting point Chris.

Is it also theft when the lifts that are advertised to open at 08:30 are still not open at 09:10? Or when they are closed for no apparent reason?

Chris call it a refund - I paid for a lift passes for two six year olds and no one told me I didnt need them they were very keen to take the money

I Suggest you get off your high horse!!

re: Pamporovo Life Passes

Also what happens when you pay for a lift pass and very few runs open and little to no piste managment

But we will go back as we love bulgaria and we are pleased that are serious efforts here to improve things.

Besides it was never a really serious thought as I wouldnt send him off with an instructor to learn to ski without a pass

re: Pamporovo Life Passes

We paid for 3 lift passes this year and had hardly any runs open. The runs had not been cleared and the piste managment was apalling. I was shocked to find that there was no reduction in the lift pass at all so no, I don't feel guilty that I got away without paying for a pass for one child.

Its a bit like leaving a restaurant where you have had bad food and awful service and paying what you feel your meal and food is worth, rather than the total bill. So long as they still make some money ...

So long as they still make some money out of you as customers they are happy. I'm not out to rip anyone off but will also fight against being ripped off myself.

And how differently would you do it then James? My son is 7 - I don't think I've seriously flouted any rules. I have paid plenty and Pamporovo has profitted plenty from me and from my guests.

Your post sounds a bit like a threat, 'the third time you will pay' - what are you going to do - send the guys with the violin cases round??

Brit on a cheap holiday? no. Pamporovo is not exactly cheap - however 'brit on a value for money holiday' I may be and there's no shame in that.
