Yes it is.. both accessible and frustrating to board, But- If you have the willingness to give it your all then any Decent Instructor worth his/her salt will have you coming down the mountain confidently & safely within 3-4 days No worries. Any more questions about boarding, i will be happy to give my opinion, Regards

i'm going to book with Balkan hols are their board instructors any good as i'm planning to book the learn to board package aswell.

p.s. as you run a shop it's probably a bit of a loaded question but would i be better off waiting until i get to the resort to buy any snow gear i need, gloves, jacket etc.
as i guess it's cheaper out there than in uk

And is it possible to get a board intructor from Snowshack when i'll be on the resort already or should I do it before?

Hi. Well i used to work for balkan and i can assure you there prices are hard to beat on packages so Pre-book it.. As far as instruction, its pot luck, some are great and some are so very not.. and you wont get the choice of who teaches you. But worst case, if your not happy with your progress learning you could change groups therefore instructor or Pay in resort for a 1 off private lesson (the best way to learn) and then maybe i could help to recommend someone.. Hi, if you let me know personally before you arrive how many lessons/days you think you might need it would be better. I wouldnt like you to be dissapointed when you get there..but Im sure we can help either way, even if we are very busy we will find an excellent instructor for you no matter what. Regards

Sorry forgot to answer the clothes Q, You dont have to buy from the snow shack to make great savings in pamporovo, all the shops are very well priced compared to uk. Just bear in mind, the later in the season you go there the less choice there is. Also, you will be able to credit card this yr unlike previous years.. Cheers

cherrs for all the info. I'm comung over in early March so i guess i'll have to settle for all the spoddie looking kit that no-one would be seen dead in. I might be up for a one to one lesson but will decide when i see how i get on.
