Just back from pamps had 9 days of fantastic skiing eating and drinking, a few downers my 9 year old son twisted his knee badly after only 2 days on the slopes and had to stay in the apartment with his aunt who broke her collar bone on the 3rd day its an old injury but they both coped well with the dissapointment. Also taxi fares up and prices in the retaurants up a bit but if you look hard enough there is still good value to be had, two to look out for that are pricey first on the mountain is brothers and in the town the white house, a good indicator for price is a shopska salad if its more than 6 lev you are probably going to pay over the odds for your meal anything less and it will be cheap. Now for the possitives the Snow when we arrived was very good the green needed topping up, it gets so mutch use a few icy patches and stones coming through, then last tuesday evening it got a top up 3 feet to be exact started snowing approx 6pm and didnt stop till 2 pm wednesday we were in heaven so mutch snow it took 24 hours for all the pistes to be bashed the roads had to be cleared almost chaos wed morning cos the snow was still very heavy.Pamps has a great atnoshere and i didnt want to come home nor did the other 11 i went with, ok my son and his aunt didnt complain to mutch but i cant wait to go back this is what a holiday is all about having fun.
