The Kindergarden in Pamps is terrible. It is one room with a few benches in and a couple of broken toys. They do take the older ones skiing in the afternoon for an hour or so.
My son was 3 when i tried to get him to go, considering he goes to a childminder mon - fri he cried his eyes out and did not want to go.
I think you might have 2 choices -
1) Fill a case with colouring books, making things and a portable dvd player.
or
2) Take turns looking after them.

I found tghis was the case with most parents, a few lasted 1/2 a day and the rest packed in by the middle of the week.
Hi Gary we travelled last year with a 2 year old and a 7 year old - and it was the best holiday ever! We are going on the 16th Feb this year. Our 2 year old even managed some time on Skis - got bored of the sledging and wanted on the planks lol!! 7 Year old went to ski school no probs.
we dealt with steves ski school - super service!!

However, your kids are so close in age that you could get a junior instructor to take them together for a few hours for ski lessons and play ie sledging etc - get them to match your ski school hours. If the four hours is too long, for our two year old we have a good bulgarian friend out here who recommonded a young girl to babysit in our apartment - this same girl will do the same this year and teach the youngest to ski also as she is a junior instructor. Could end up a bit more expensive though!. As for the kindergarden I cannot comment as this was not an option for us as we wanted them to spend as much time in the snow as possible and not indoors!!
