Is anyone going to Pamps on the 20th of Jan?Me and my wife are going but my wife doesn't ski.
I'll be skiing and I've got new freestyle skis to get used to and muck about on!
Anyone going then too?

we are going on 19th, staying in the Murgavets see you there, hope you are taking plenty of cash for your wife to take advantage of the lush bulgarian beauty treatments

Oh I think my wife'll be making sure there is plenty of money!I can't wait to get away, I've been looking at the webcams and it looks as though the snow has been falling and lying quite well.

yes been quite a lot in last three years, my friend introduced me to Pamps and sking when I was 40 and never looked back, the friend I am going with is married to a bulgarian and has introduced to many many new bulgarian friends, so cannot wait to get back to pamps and see a few of them. where are you staying? I adore Pamps its so friendly and quaint...re: Pamps 20th Jan?
We're staying at the Hotel Pamporovo. Read mixed reviews about it but going with an open mind so should be enjoyable, after all it's only a bed for me. However, my wife doesn't ski so it's more than just a bed for her, I'm sure she'll cope though!A few of our friends went to Pamps a couple of years ago and said it was fantastic. Can't wait to get there!

we stayed there first time I went, and I had nothing at all to complain about, they did have a lot of problems either last winter or winter before but believe the tour operators got them sorted in time for the next season, last thing the reps need is having to listen us lot moaning so believe they jumped on it for the following season.. its a nice hotel.
Only draw back is the coach in the morning has already stopped a few times before it gets to the Pamps so you may have a bit of a wait ...

Thank you for the advice! I'll bear the info about the taxis in mind because I don't want to be hanging around too long for the bus. Is 12-15 lev around £4-5?Someone said something about not being able to wear ski boots on the bus, is that true or did they just have a bad experience?
