in Pamps no one wears ski boots on the buses, if you are renting the boots you tend to leave them in the depots each evening and collect them again in the morning, you are given a number for boots, sticks skis and there is a slot for each with that number on so you know which are yours the next morning... I have my own boots so take them each day on the bus and leave my snow boots in the depot, you may have to pay a small fee to do this if you have not arranged a ...

depends which depot you go from each morning (there are two) but you would not want to walk down the steep hill the coach leaves you at at one of them in your ski boots) not unless you fancy a broken leg before you start... last year it was hard enough getting down it in normal foot wear
Thanks again! You are a fountain of Pamps knowledge!
I might take a backpack with me and stick my walking boots in that while I'm on the slopes. I'm taking all my own equipment with me. Are they ok with taking skis and poles on the bus? I may well be better with a taxi because I'm only skiing 4-5 days of the week.

Might well have a walk to the Murgavets and have a drink. I'm sure we'll be trying everywhere!
Some people say the Irish bar at the Pamps is expensive but at the end of the day it's a ski resort, and regardless of where the ski resort is (be it France, Austria or Bulgaria) the prices are going to be a bit more expensive.
One of my workmates has a girlfriend in Bulgaria and he was going to pop down and take us shopping in Sofia but ...
yeah, we'll no doubt be in the bar as well!

they do a shopping trip to Plovdiv depending what time you fly on the last day, its well worth going escpecially if your wife likes shopping, lots of shoe shops
I enjoyed it the atmosphere last Christmas was lovely...
Yeah I think Christmas would be really nice in Bulgaria especially if there is loads of snow.
I'll be watching the webcams for skiing santas!!! I'm sure there'll be a few!
I think we're a later flight home so hopefully we'll get to pop into the shops.
