There is a nice Bulgarian restaurant in one of the Grand monastery blocks at mid station. From Grand monastery head across car park and before heading up slope to the beginners run it is in the building on the right. Go down some external steps. Ate there a lot last year and food always excellent and prices reasonable. Often have an outdoor spit cooking

I would totally agree with the advise to avoid the White House in Pamporovo like the plague. Had a number of guests ripped off there last season. Waiter runs down the street after guests saying they'd not left enough money. You can't prove what you left so you have to leave more. If you do go, stay and pay the waiter direct - dont' just leave money on the table.

I also agree, we have had good reviews of food served in Grand Mon, also restaurants at Malina are well reviewed x
