If this is true will it not make it to busy (longer Qs)and make poor conditions worst?...sorry to sound a moaner. Have not told him yet about conditions as like everyone else praying for snowwwww.. If this is going to be the case what else is there to do or see, and would it be worth renting a car?...not going to mention anything yet to partner...
im afriad your holiday appears doomed. I hope you getsome snow but perhaps you should cancel and get a late deal to France where snow is guaranted. Other plus points would be cleanliness and food.
Tamara, Snow is not guaranteed anywhere. Everywhere in Europe is bad this year - it's the luck of the draw with ski holidays and we all know the risks when we book.
As for your other points, I've never found cleanliness to be a problem in Bulgaria and the food, whilst different to what we may be used to, is wholesome and can be tasty if you're willing to experiment.
Tamara..is it possable to change or cancel holiday. I thought you had to provide some kind of sick note to do this other wise everyone would be doing the same.??? PS wanted to know is it worth hiring a car to look around the area not travel between ski resorts as Borv seems to have best snow.
I think saying the conditions everywhere in Europe are bad is not a very good statement! The conditions in Val d'Isere/Tignes are pretty near perfect, definitely not bad at all. A good snow base, possibly better conditions than this time last year, and new snow falling at the moment and seems as though it will continue to fall for at least the next week or so!
I know it doesn't help anyone going to Bulgaria, but wanted to say not every where is bad, and if you do have an option of going ...

I know it doesn't help anyone going to Bulgaria, but wanted to say not every where is bad, and if you do have an option of going to one of the French resorts that is enjoying good skiiing i would go as well!
I personally am looking forward to my trip to Bulgaria, i am pretty sure i will get snow when i go, and if not, no problems, no major. Its time a way from work and i will enjoy whatever i do!!
