The only time the passport offices are pushed is approaching the summer hols, It will breeze back, max of 14 days if you use the Post office it avoids the sill mistakes of missing a box on the form and them having to send it back to be re filled out. You have plenty of time to get you passport back.....as long as you send it by 5pm TODAY.

They add the remaining time to the new passport so you will get a new 10 year and 3 months passport.

I Did mine last year with 5 mths to go, then put the new one through the washing machine in the summer, and just got another 10 years added on with the replacement.

its all too confusing for me Wayne.... so we now have a 10 and half years passport

usually if you book with a travel agent and iam sure if you book on the internet and read the items that require us to tick, once we have read but we never do and noone knows what we are ticking for they always tell you you must have six months left on your return nothing to do with bulgeria it the world over, get it sorted or let us know where your flying from and I will help you out with my passport

What an emphatic response, more popular than the unmentionable. Thanks for the advice, i'll trust in the the check and send service, probably worth the extra £7 quid.

I sent my passport renewal away 23rd Nov without check & send, received it back last Friday, I was worried when I sent it. Mind you the cheque still hasn't came off my bank!
