Passport

Hi all
do any of you good people know if you can still go to your nearest Passport office and get a passport within the same day.

Mates has run out and we are flying out on the 24th Feb
told him to send of for it today but he is worried it wont be back in time.

My advice would be for your mate to phone the nearest passport office and to go to the office first thing tomorrow morning. Good luck.

He'll be fine just sending it. If he's really concerned about the timescale the post office have a service, for a couple of quid, that guarantee return within a week or somesuch.

(my daughter's passport renewal was sent on a Monday and the new one with us by Thursday...it's not exactly the passport office's busiest time)

Hi folks,
do you still need a passport? Since January BG has become a member of EU and we, Germans, only need the ID Card.
