oh no panic just checked the kids passort and they run out 6mths to the day we get back...
husband has just checked with Crystal and they say passports only need to be valid the 6mth rule only applies to the states and canada

Make doubly sure as that's not what it says in the Balkan brochure. (Page 49)

thanks Pete but luckily I'm just alright - had visions of having to do a manic dash to Newport to re new the kids passports tomorrow as we fly on Sat.

Passport validity for traveling to Bulgaria







Foreign citizens entering Bulgarian territory have to present a passport valid for at least three months beyond the holder's period of stay in Bulgaria.



It is important to note that citizens entering through the Bulgarian border checkpoints are required to present their valid passports. ID cards or driving licenses are not acceptable.
