Agree with Emjay on this. You do not need to have 6 months (or even 3 months) and on arrival they will not question you to how long your passport has left - you just need to make sure it is valid so you can get out.......! Before I moved here, I came to see Bobby for a few days and lost my passport yet was still allowed to fly back without it after a simple phone call by BG officals @ sofia airport to UK - didn't have to go to embassy or anything!!

Only thing it might be worth considering is if your travel agent / insurance companies have different rules than the actual country legislation as then you may not be covered if there's a problem and you have to stay longer than intendedeg: if you have an injury or love it so much you don't want to go home!!
