Hi all...
Been checking the webcams daily, still looks fantastic....
One little point, where is everyone, the slopes look deserted and this is midday out there ??? The only area that looks a little busy are the beginner tows, the main slopes could have a gun fired down them and not hit anyone
Hey, i am not complaining, more space for me to rip, just a little concerned that there may be a problem....
there are definitely people on the slopes. Not many, but it is end of season and Tuesday, usually quiet anyway. But temperatures are indeed so high, there is definitely avelanche danger, so perhaps some slopes are closed. But I can confirm that the drag lifts on the Platoto and the 3-man chair are working (can see people going up). Looks like Bunderishka Poliana is closed, perhaps the gondola too? But lots of people on the other side. Nice weather.
Going next week, should be perfect, ...

Thanks BG, i`m out to next week, temperatures on the top still well below freezing
and loads of snow, should be a blast
Heard rumour of temps dropping and possibility of snow mid to end next week, any reports ???
Re weather the site I generally look at shows mild temperatures for the rest of this week with rain on Thursday and Friday then temperatures dropping with snow forecast on Saturday and Sunday. I'm never sure whether this means in the town or on the slopes but looks like you will have some fresh snow to ski on anyway.
Wish we were out there next week too. Lots of hassle at the moment from various quarters. Talking to you here keeps me sane.
With the nursery slope fenced off it looks like novices may have problems finding places to ski, unless they teach you down the bansko road?
Is it confirmed about the avalanche? there does seem to be a lot of the white stuff at Bunderiska Polyana... I'm glad I went the week I did - blue skies, quick snow (a little too icy for me and VERY cold) but managed to ski every day with nothing closed.
