Been told that its going to be Sept09 + for mine as the developer is focusing 100% on getting the Hotel completed for next season.

They have stated that it is possible to swap for one of the downtown ones which can be up to 5msqr bigger at no cost - these are ready/very very nearly ready. Im not sure what to do currently I like Pirin G District 1 - its going to be much more quiet & close enough to the downtown area for food & bars. Id say its family friendly too.

Also the apt I/we have bought is a south facing one balcony is split in 2 like all on them and ours will have sun from late morning until dusk - the person next to us will have light impaired after a certain time. If we swapped for the downtown we would gain 5m2 which is nothing & could be all communal rather than the actual room but I dont know, and a good view of the golf course...However I'd much rather the view of the mountains & swimming pool. When I want to watch the golf I'll walk to the club house for a beer and enjoy it there.

I really was impressed with the Golf Clubhouse stunning and the food excellent and very similar to Bansko price - beer identical. The driving ranges are all complete and look very nice too.

We also have a mountain/pool view.I think your right saying its going to be more quiet. I'll stick with pirin 1 .
Just spoken to someone at developers who let slip it may not be ready till december. To me this would be good as it means rental for ski season will come in straight away,also there is some amount of compensation for late finish although i have no idea how much.
Have you been out there recently? It looks great from the pictures.

I went out in Nov08 - early Nov.
From the finished work I was very impressed, the Golf Club house is really stunning I'd certainly say 5 star. Excellent service. We had a meal there which was excellent and barely no different to Bansko village prices ditto beer (which tasted better than some Mehanas we've been to).

If Pirin D1 is delayed until Dec09 even better news. No need to worry about finding the final payment now.

I already have one place out there which I own mortgage free so given the change of Euro to £ I will have to put a mortgage on it to pay for the final instalment.

My contract states that it is to be completed by Sept08 and there would be compensation for any delay - however I have not yet got to the actual amount.

I certainly do not want to change from PD1 to downtown, I like the southernly views of the mountain, the outdoor heater swimming pool the outside bar next to the swimming pool & know that late at night there will be little noise as the Mehanas & bars & hussle & bussle will be downtown - which is a very very short walk from PD1.
