Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Having had the chance to see the country outside of the resorts both in the mountains and the coast i can only say that they do need some help especially in their health and basic living needs.
I think they will retain their identity, those i have met are very proud of being Bulgarian and want to retain customs along with a better living standard...
Whether it will benifit all Bulgarians will be a case of waiting and seeing, there is some resentment already towards the EU as they only see increases in prices and legislation effecting them initially, lets hope that everyone does get a fair chance...

Oh, yeah, and whose pockets is all the free EU money flowing to countries like Bulgaria coming from? Mine and yours! After all, it seems like there is such a thing like "free lunch" - for some chosen few and that is not us Brits. In the case of Bulgaria, Blair does not have a clue about what he is doing by letting Bulgaria and its ways of organised crime, setting business scores by murder and corrupt ways into the EU - it is us, hard working Brits who will suffer once all these Eastern Europeans take our jobs away. You only need to look around and see all the Poles, Czechs and Lithuanians who have come to the UK and are undercutting us Brits by offering to work for next to nothing, in our own country!!! It will be Bulgarians next! Why cannot they sort out their own country first and then join the EU, like we did?
