Poverty sticken but desperate to ski!

Went skiing for the first time last year to Borovets - Really wish I hadn't because I proper got the bug. Problem is I can't really afford to go this year and the sensible option would be to walk away, forget it and save for next year. However, I've got the week commencing 6th March off work and the temptation is getting too much.

Any suggestions as to how I can get within my budget of £750 for 2 people including lift passes, tuition, hire etc etc?

Has anyone out there left it til last ...

Has anyone out there left it til last minute to book at this time of year? Do the flights really become fully booked3 weeks before as most travel agents would have you believe?

Help, I'm desperate to ski!!!

i found ringing them up, instead of tralling through all the different websites worked out a lot easier as well, you can tell them your situation, and they can see what they can do.

Cheers guys,

'Got the bug' was loose terminology (probably a localism?). What I meant to say was I got hooked on skiing!

went last yyear stayed in the yagoda chalets, was cheaper than the hotels bcos a bit of effort getting to slopes (free bus) or (15 minute walk) but you could do it and have change in yr budget if u stayed there

Book direct with Bulgaria Ski and it works out cheaper and you may even have enough for a beer or 2 when you get there..

re: Poverty sticken but desperate to ski!

I've just looked at Inghams - they've got quite good availability that week - I just costed out the Iglika - came to about £550 plus ski packs.

They've still got the Yagoda available too at a cost of £500 plus the ski packs

Is that good enough
