To give them both a bit of encouragement - I have been a type 1 diabetic for 34 years now. 3 jabs a day so I'm up to about 37,500 jabs now
I play golf off of 9 - ski my arse off whenever I can and played football until I was 38 at Somerset Senior League standard. I still enjoy life to the full and intend to do so for many more years yet.
It is a lot easier these days and there really is nothing I can't do provided I'm sensible. (Some hopes )
Thank you for that Captain Slow and Pete very encouraging. . .Pete, any idea if there are fridges in the rooms at Murgavets, Hubby and other son will be skiing boarding with him at all times and will carry supplies including glucopen, so think we got it covered, Daniel loves snowboarding so we just want him to get on with life as normal but he's in the 'not accepting stage at mo'
Have great hol Captain Slow. If you've not been before., you will love Borovets its a fantastic place ...

No very few - if any have fridges, but as my insulin has t's own built in presevative these days, it's not so important as it used to be to keep it in a fridge.
