This post was nothing more than an update on what Balkan are considering in respect of Plovdiv Airport. Many people have asked for this information so I took the trouble to try and find out - But as usual you want to turn it into another dig at me?

What its the matter with these people!...
What's wrong with trying to find out if Balkan (or any other tour operator) are going to restart flight to Plovdiv again? This is nothing new, Balkan have always flew to Plovdiv, in fact when I first went skiing to Bulgaria over 20 years ago they only flew to Plovdiv!... They only stopped the last 2 seasons. Now that Plovdiv have completed their renovations its only logical that people who prefer to go to Pamps will ask the question.

Pamporovo needs the tour operators to fly to Plovdiv, if not it will kill the resort. This season and last has seen Pamps so quiet that many shops, bars, etc have closed. Many people who once enjoyed a 90 min transfer are now faced with a 4 hour journey, which they are not prepared to do. Pete's letter to Balkan no doubt outlined this. I, like him only hope they take note and restart flights to Pamps!... other wise it could be the end for Pamps!

Pete - why do you bother? Some people are just so ungrateful and as you say all they want to do is have a 'pop' at someone trying to find some information which is useful to the majority of users of this site.Don't let the bas*ards grind you down!!!!
