Stayed in Borovest (Ice Angels hotel) last week with a large group (29) adults and children. Unfortunately 24 of us were struck down with a sickness bug. We were told that other hotels were also effected...just wondered if any one else was ill last week in Borovest ....(not drink related)re: SICKNESS- BORO

we were in boro week before i had stomach cramps and the trots for a day or so but some of the group we very bad when they got home. i have had a cold not man flu for two week now and still got it but great time was had by allre: SICKNESS- BORO
austria has come down with a bad bug also seems to be doing the rounds. out of a group of 84 kids 60 plus on last count came down, this was over half term. lots of pro skiers also ill with it and not many races happened.the kids were tested and it is the novo virus and it has really taken hold. so could be same in bulgariasmarties

I had that from Andorra too - wiped me out - was off work for two weeks, two lots of antibiotics and steroids - I'll never be a pro-skier now...J

someone in my group had gastroenteritis/hepatitis when they got back from boro 2 weeks ago! DON'T DRINK WATER FROM THE TAPS!!!!!re: SICKNESS- BORO
i was ill the second day i was there-i don't drink tap water or ice in my drinks and hadn't eaten anything suspicious.
missed a days skiing,bought 2 lots of tablets from the chemist by the rila,went back to the hotel and slept for most of the day until 7 am the next morning.
must admit i didn't have much of an appitite and managed to loose 4 lb while on holiday.
still sad to be back home-wish i was there now
nearly finished all the washing now-just waiting for it to stop ...
missed a days skiing,bought 2 lots of tablets from the chemist by the rila,went back to the hotel and slept for most of the day until 7 am the next morning.
must admit i didn't have much of an appitite and managed to loose 4 lb while on holiday.
still sad to be back home-wish i was there now

IMMODIUM (diarea) & MOTILIUM (stomach)Buy water in the little shops to brush your teeth
Don't drink unbottled water (choco and co..)
